Traditional and Contemporary Woodburning Stoves

Typically a traditional wood burning stove is free standing and made from steel or cast iron, or with a coloured enamel finish, often with brass handles and fittings. A glass door means that a view of the flames creates the traditional warm ambience of a log fire.

Contemporary stove models
have a cast iron or steel exterior but smooth rounded edges, nickel handle and hinge pins, which produce a more contemporary effect. Some contemporary stoves have more simple, clean, smooth lines and a very sleek designed appearance.

Room Heating Stoves and Inserts

Room heaters are available in traditional and contemporary styles for room heating only or with integral back boilers to heat water for radiators and your domestic hot water supply. Some Inserts allow the connection of vent tubes which recover the warmth around the heating body and channel it into the home instead of up the chimney.

Biomass chip boilers are suitable for large domestic situations, such as farmhouses and estates, and commercial use.
